Meeting Venue
This event will be held at UCAR's Center Green campus (map) located in Boulder, Colorado, USA. Boulder is at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains and offers stunning views of the famous Flatirons. The Center Green campus is close to miles of hiking trails, Chautauqua, and the famous Pearl Street Mall.

*If you are a student participant and have applied (and been accepted) for travel support, your hotel accommodations will be booked by COSMIC.

Transportation
Getting To/From Boulder
Denver International Airport (DEN) is a 45 minute drive to Boulder and the UCAR/NCAR Center Green campus.

Uber and Lyft are readily available and cost around $70-$120 depending on the time of day and available capacity.

RTD bus runs frequently between DEN and Boulder. See RTD Schedules. The AB1 Bus travels from the Denver Airport to several stops in Boulder. The Regional/Airport day ticket is valid for one day of transportation and costs about $10.
Getting Around Boulder

Uber / Lyft are readily available in all areas of Boulder.

BCycle - UCAR has arranged free access for using BCycle electric bicycles for local use, with docking stations at Center Green and near all three suggested hotels.

Technology
Complimentary Wi-Fi and plug-in points for charging will be available in the meeting spaces. Presentation laptops will be provided during the presentation sessions. All conference hotels provide free Wi-Fi.
Poster Printing
The closest print service is FedEx Office, Print & Ship Center - Boulder. You are responsible for printing your own poster.
Dining
28th Street, the Pearl Street Mall and surrounding areas offer numerous dining options.

What clothes should I bring?
The weather forecast during September is an average high of 79ºF / 26ºC, an average low of 49ºF / 9ºC. September in Boulder typically has plentiful sun and little rain. Boulder's elevation is at 5430ft / 1655m above sea level. The sun is strong and humidity is generally very low, so make sure you stay hydrated!
