The 4th International Conference on GPS Radio Occultation (ICGPSRO) will be held April 18 - 20, 2018 in Taipei, Taiwan. The ICGPSRO is jointly organized by the Taiwan National Space Organization (NSPO) and US University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), and seeks to promote the research and application of GPS RO data in the meteorology, climate, and space weather communities. Details regarding the ICGPSRO objectives, location, and scientific sessions/topics may be found at the primary conference Web page: https://www.nspo.narl.org.tw/ICGPSRO2018/index.html
To ensure the continued growth of the GPS RO research community, and with support from the US National Science Foundation (NSF), the UCAR/COSMIC program invites student applications for travel support to attend the upcoming ICGPSRO. Undergraduate and graduate students with research interests in GPS RO technology, meteorology, climate, and space weather are encouraged to apply. Please note that travel support is only available to support students that are US citizens or permanent residents. Students will be competitively selected based on their research interests and application materials. Students receiving travel support will present an poster presentation during the ICGPSRO, and will be required to submit a brief report on their experience attending the conference.
